Description

Clomiphene addresses the issue of infertility in women while stimulating the release of hormones necessary for ovulation to occur. The drug is used to stimulate the process of ovulation in case of women who do not ovulate or follow an irregular pattern. The pre requisites however include that the estrogen level and pituitary glands must be normal and the male partner absolutely fertile. It is a situation when the women’s ovaries can produce a follicle but the hormonal stimulation is what is lacking. A certain time interval and period is allotted for the use of the drug prescribed by the physician. If the female doesn’t conceive during the period it is not advised to continue with the medication.
