Description

Due to heart or liver disease a condition of fluid retention occurs which causes shortness of breath and swellings in the arms, legs and abdomen. To reduce the problem of fluid retention, lasix (Furosemide) 40mg is used. The drug is a water pill, a diuretic; also used to reduce high blood pressure. The medicine helps the kidneys to get rid of salt and un required water from the body and expel it as urine. The drug is a potent one and should be used under strict administration. Over use may result in expel of salts and minerals which are important for normal functioning of the body. Lasix may also be used to lower down the level of calcium in the blood.
