Advair Diskus 50/250mg is used as a combination inhaler of corticosteriod and bronchodilator, Fluticasone and salmeterol is used in the treatment of asthma. The steroid acts to prevent inflammation while the bronchodilator helps to widen the lungs for effective breathing purposes. The medicine should be used by 4 years and older and especially in the condition when the asthma seems uncontrolled and long term medication in the form of corticosteroid is required
