Description

Protozoa are suspected to be the cause if diarrhoea lasts for more than 7 days. The drug is used in the treatment of diarrhoea in children and adults caused by the protozoa Crytosporidium or Giardia. The drug is classified in the class of medicines called the antiprotozoal agents. Nitazoxinide 500mg works by ceasing the growth of bacteria which may cause diarrhoea in patients. The medication should be taken as per the prescription and at regular intervals as instructed by your physician.
