Description

The drug is used to treat mild to moderate pain including that of menstrual one. Motrin 800mg is used to treat the swelling, tenderness and redness caused by the inflammation of the skin. This is due to osteoarthritis i.e. arthritis caused by the breakdown of the lining of joints or rheumatoid arthritis i.e. arthritis caused by the swelling of the joints.

The drug is included in the medications termed as NSAIDs and works by ceasing the production of chemicals in the body which cause pain, fever and inflammation.

Non prescription Ibuprofen is used to relieve fever, minor aches and pain, headaches; muscle aches joints, menstrual periods, backache, toothache and common cold. Ibuprofen shouldn’t be used in conditions of chronic arthritis if could be treated with non medicated drug. Your general physician should guide you the best in such conditions.
